IT'S EMBEDDED
Agriculture runs deep in my family. My ancestors from Germany settled Arp Farms in Missouri in 1886. Today, my father runs Arp Cattle Company, managing over 100 head of Gelbvieh and Balancer® cattle. Growing up on the University of Wisconsin Research Farm, I learned the ins and outs of cattle care and developed a strong work ethic.

YOUTH INVOLVEMENT

2011 AGJA Board of Directors
I spent my youth showing cattle and participating in 4-H, taking on leadership roles and engaging in various projects. As a member of the American Gelbvieh Junior Association, I served on the Board of Directors, helping to organize events and engage the membership.
FROM CATTLE
TO CROPS
My first summer job was at DuPont Pioneer’s alfalfa division, where I learned about crop genetics and plant breeding. The experience highlighted the importance of improving crop genetics for agriculture and human life.

BECOMING AN AGVOCATE
In college, I began connecting my agricultural background with my marketing studies. I wrote about controversial issues in the ag industry, which ignited my passion for advocating for agriculture and educating others about farming practices.
FULL CIRCLE
After college, I focused on music and advertising, but in 2018, I returned to agriculture professionally at Midan Marketing, working on the Tyson Fresh Meats account. This role reignited my passion for agriculture and storytelling, a journey I continue today by actively promoting and supporting the industry.
